Yellow Bedroom

The inspiration for this room was a pattern painted on the walls which was adapted from a design by Victor Horta and used in his house in Brussels. On top of the primrose yellow base colour there is a graduated orange wash which makes the lower portions of the pale green motif quite distinct but the upper sections much closer in tone to their background.
